Nur Patia. 215.03.051. The Influence of Account Receivable Turnover towards Profitability – (Case of Study is at PT. Del Solaria Indonesia) Accounting Major STIE Trianandra ( Supervised by Jajang Cukmana and Dedi Iskandar).
Account receivable is an asset account on the balance sheet that represents money due to a company in the short-term and profit is financial benefit realized when revenue generated from a business activity exceeds the expenses, costs, and taxes involved.
The problem and purpose this research study is how the respected company in managing accounts receivable from sales on credit and to determine whether accounts receivable turnover has an influence on company profit in the future. Population is derived from company’s 2014-2018 annual financial statements and sample is taken through purposive method of 5 years data of account receivable, sales and net income. Secondary data is applied.
The results of research study have shown that accounts receivable turnover has an influence on profitability whereas correlation coefficient value of 92.1% while the remaining 7.9% can be caused by other factors. The t count test value is greater than t table (4,094> 3,182), this shows the Accounts Receivable Turnover has a positive and significant influence on profitability of PT. Del Solaria Indonesia.
