ABSTRACT

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the family environment on the
learning achievement of class X IPS students at Cakra Buana High School. This type of research
is quantitative which is carried out “ex-post facto”, namely research carried out to see and study
variables without treating those being studied. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found
that there was an influence of the family environment on the learning achievement of class The
Fcount value is 5.764 with Ftable of 3.708, because Fcount > Ftable at the significance level α
= 0.05 strengthens the meaning of the hypothesis that cumulatively the family environment
influences the learning achievement of class X students at Cakra Buana High School, Then. Then
this influence is shown in the form of a model of the relationship between the independent
variable and the dependent variable in the form of the equation 𝑌̂ = 32.577 + 0.697 𝑋
Furthermore, the magnitude of the influence of the school environment on learning achievement
is determined by the coefficient of determination (R2) value of 30.72%. Meanwhile, the
remaining 69.28% was influenced by other variables that were not included or discussed in this
research.
