Effectiveness of Internal Control System on Cash Disbursement (Case of Study is at PT. Bypassindo Jayaindah)

Internal Control System is a process for assuring of an organization’s objectives in operational effectiveness and efficiency, reliable financial reporting, and compliance with laws, regulations and policies and case disbursement is an amount of money that flows out of the company’s accounts or petty cash boxes. The problem and purpose of this research study is find out understanding and effectiveness of internal control system for employee at the respected company.

Population is derived from all employees who have job desks that are related to company finances or cash aand sample is taken the samples taken through purposive sampling technique and research instrument of questioner is applied in collecting data and tested Guttman scale.

Research study results have been obtained and shown that 40% of the opinion on internal control system is applied, 20% think that the internal control system is sufficiently applied and 40% of the internal control system is less applied, with the frequency of variable data on cash disbursements on the internal control system test at a mean of 11.7000 is obtained an interval of 10, 79 <x <12.61 = is sufficient. Based on the normality test, the Most Extreme Differences Positive is 0.249 and Sig (2-tailed) is = 0.079> 0.05, which means the data is normal and based on the one sample test, the t-count is = 2.940> t-table 2.306 or sig (2-tailed) = 0.016 <α = 0.05 then Hₒ is rejected, so with a confidence level of 95% it can be concluded that the internal control system is quite effective for cash disbursements.
